Welcome to Zora Wellness, my natural health blog devoted to journaling the latest evidence-based developments in health & wellness, fitness, functional nutrition, and mind-body medicine. With skyrocketing rates of preventable diseases such as cardiovascular disease, it is clear there needs to be more focus placed on modifiable dietary and lifestyle factors pertinent in the manifestation of certain complex, chronic conditions. As your Certified Health Coach, I’m here to support, educate and empower you in your transformative wellness journey. Instead of viewing health as the absence of disease, we should approach health as our body’s ability to thrive.
Currently, I am pursuing a M.S. in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine, and have received additional specialized training in mind-body medicine and positive psychology. My one-on-one coaching program is highly personalized, taking a whole-systems approach to wellness, with an emphasis on: adopting a healthy whole-foods diet; managing stress; improving sleep; incorporating daily movement; and reducing exposure to common environmental toxins. I’m based out of Bradenton, FL and work with clients both nationally as well as locally.
